Jodie Dickson

Jodie Dickson became the principal of R.B. Godley Elementary School in 2022.

After growing up in Granbury, she earned a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies from the University of North Texas and a Master of Education in administration from Lamar University.

Dickson previously served as assistant principal, behavior and academic advisor, and kindergarten teacher at Godley Elementary School.  She began her educational career in 2000 as a 5th grade teacher at T.J. Lee Elementary School in Irving.  Dickson later taught 3rd and 5th grades at Gulledge Elementary School in Plano.

Dickson and her husband, Justin, have two sons - Owen, a junior at Godley High School, and Eli, a student at Godley 6th Grade Campus.
